SICBA HONORS MEMBERS AT ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET

The Skagit/Island Counties Builders Association held its Annual Awards Banquet at Greenfield Farm & Gardens in Anacortes on May 17, 2018 to honor the accomplishments of its members during 2017. 

The following award winners were voted on by SICBA members;

  • Recruiter of the Year: Zane Morrison of Blade Chevrolet
  • Chairperson of the Year: Curtis Banta of Yonkman Construction
  • Contractor Sponsor of the Year: Yonkman Construction
  • Supplier/Services Sponsor of the Year: Cedar Country Lumber

  • SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 3001 & ABOVE – Strandberg Construction Inc. for the Martin Residence
  • SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE FROM 0 TO 1999 SQUARE FEET - Quantum Construction Inc for the Hagen Residence

Additional highlights from the night included Awards for Executive Officer, Charles W. Crider, being recognized for 20 years of service with SICBA and Finance/Education Coordinator and former Membership Coordinator, Rayna Moe, also recognized for 25 years of service with SICBA.  Another highlight was SICBA Member and Guest Speaker, Dennis Poppe, Kentucky Derby Horse owner & 2nd Place finisher in 2014.
